I voted for "Other"--"Enemy of the State" is my favorite Will Smith film. I don't think he's a great actor at all. "Enemy" was decent. "I am Legend," which is the latest W.S. film I've seen, had severe, fatal flaws with the story...

yeah enemy of the state would probably be my fave as well. i dont think he's a bad actor, if you watch "six degress of seperation" he did a good job in that. also i thought parts of "pursuit of happyness" were very well acted.

i think his popularity has more to do with the choices he makes in which films to do. there was a while there that every summer had a block buster will smith movie in it. mindless plot, action packed, cheesey lines, impossible feats done easily. he was kind of the schwartzenegger of the 90's. why was arnold so popular? neither of them are great actors but they just seem to give the masses easily digestible entertainment. hats off to them for finding their niche.

as far as some of the posts on hating him, i guess i never understood the need to hate an entertainer simply because of their material. that kind of makes them more important in your life, counter productive if you ask me.

that last paragraph was not directed to titsrock, i quoted titsrock cos i was agreeing with his choice of movie and his summary. oh and i did like hancock but mostly because charlize is so fucking hot, god damn she was hot in that movie!
