Favorite Vacation Spot

I rarely go back to the same place more than once, since there's so much out there that want to see. I have been to Cooperstown a couple of times. Probably the best trip, though, was a vacation to Newfoundland in '07. Beautiful scenery, lighthouses and fishing towns, and probably the friendliest people I've come across. Oh yes, and icebergs.

Maresies on the Brazilian coast and Ilhabela. Fantastically beautiful spots with some of the prettiest girls in the world.

I like to go camping on my vacations, Northern New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine.
I love the outdoors, all I need is a ******** bag, some beers, a fishing pole and I'm good.
I would like to take a trip to Alaska at some point, I have heard the land is beautiful.

You should check out the Boundary Waters in Northern Minnesota/southern Manitoba. I've never been there, but apparently it's one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Paris, Amsterdam, Munich, London, NY, San Fran or Chicago.

Try to hit those place every few years, Chicago often!

Thanks for rep my friend. I missed out on going up there with a youth group back about a decade ago. There's a funny history about the land up there. An energy tycoon a couple centuries ago wanted to flood that area to make the most powerful energy plant in North America, but a University professor (I think he was an Ivy-League professor) loved the area/ land so much that he lobbied Congress to put an end to it. He succesfully put a stop to it and thus saved the area for nature lovers and the like. I've been just southeast of there in Duluth many times and even that area is almost like heaven. Lots of wildlife like black bears, coyotes and dear, and there have even been a rare sighting of mountain lions a few times that makes news when they show up. It was a crucial area in early America when the Spaniards, British, Dutch, French and other Europeans were trading in that area pre-America, with the Natives. It's a very pleasant place to get away from city life. Here is a google of images:

What's yours???

I love Laughlin, Nevada, sitting by the edge of the peaceful Colorado River, tootsies in the water, watching the flow of the river with a cold brew...heaven

Sounds good Sparky, I'll have to some day make my way down there to check out the big state intersect. Just stay the hell away from the casions when the mongols & you know who clash, right ?

Waterways are always an automatic destination for me whenever I vacation, having typed that I'll have to go with the ol faithful Lake Tahoe area, so much to see and do .... mile high clear blue skys, water & snow skiing, card tables - gamblin, night life :lovecoupl, golfing (or hacking more appropriately), fishin >lakes & streams everywhere, hiking / camping, scenic vistas throughout and Carson :nannerf2: City if necessary
