favorite south park character

BBB...I don't wanna disagree with you, or argue over the merits of South Park; I would like to suggest you give SP another chance.
I am, if anything, a complete animation freek.
I love Futrama big time, can't describe how much I enjoy watching full lengths like Steamboy, Akira, A Bug's Life, and so many others.
I have been reading adult comix since the early '70s, I have a large collection from Heavy Metal to Mother Oats, and own some SpongeBob, a shitload of Warner Bros, and Eb Uwok.
And I can honestly say I am a complete South Park fanatic...since the beginning.
I don't like Cartman, even though he is the pivotal character. He is such an a-hole, etc...but is a brillantly developed character.
The creators are certainly a sick pair of humans, seriously warped...I don't share their (or his) fascination with fecal humor, but among the teeth-gritting weirdness is some of the cutest, funniest, and right to the point sarcastic humor I have found in any animated work since Bugs Bunny (pre mid 60s and older, of course!).
Who could help but hum along to such epic songs as "Salty Chocolate Balls", or "Kyle's Mom is a Bitch", or "Blame Canada"?

Life will not change noticeably if you don't get to enjoy the series, but you are missing out on on of the greatest animation experiences ever created...one look isn't enough to get the punchline.

Compared to what? Family guy, simpsons, futurama and king of the hill?
They didn't exactly have a "point" either... It's a cartoon, it's all made up animation designed to entertain. Of course there is no point.
In my opinion, South Park is one of the more intelligent cartoons out there, but they don't show it 100% of the time, because they don't have to.
As for the bad animation? They tried to make it crap, it's their style, it's original.
Same, when i lived in America the show was just getting big, within a week all the school kids had labelled me as Pip. But they liked me, luckily

I choose Cartman out of the choices that were given because no matter what he says/does, politically incorrect or not he's funny as hell. Out of the minor characters it's definately Butters and Tweek.
I love Cartman he is Hilarious....but Butters is underrated...

You have a point, in saying none of the Adult oriented Cartoons have a point. I agree, I was just saying that South Park has the least point out of all of them
