Has anyone had Chimey? It's this "trappist monk" **** that I see in Trader Joe's and Whole Foods and it looks pretty good....

Thing with Carlsberg, is that I can't really get a buzz from it. Anyone else notice this happening with them. I mean, yeah eventually I will get a buzz, but...I don't know, it's weird. I don't buy it anymore.

.err **** isn't about getting a buzz.It's about drinking something with a pleasant taste and Carlsberg, like most false lagers, hasn't got any.

I like Paulaner but I prefer Lowenbrau,Berliner Kindl and Schoffehofer is quite nice.There is Zywiec and Okocim from Poland.But the Belgian **** is the best with Duvel,Kwaak and Leffe especially when it's served with a half roast chicken,fries and salad

Old Speckled Hen is now brewed by Greene King . They recently reduced the strength but not the price.As with most British **** it needs to be sampled in its live form (from a cask and **** engine) because when canned or bottled a lot of the character is lost.But cans of OSH are widely available.

Thomas Hardy Ale is a world class barley **** , now brewed bu O'Hanlons

Being originally Canadian, my favorite is Moosehead. But I've tried beers with strange names from all around the world. Some were from Czech, Poland, India...there are a lot of beers out there!:tongue:
