That movie was so bad it was good... thanks for the trip down memory lane. I remember the bad guy in that film was hilarious, whenever he'd say "Matrix", (Arnie's name in the film), he'd hold the last syllable for an unusually long time, so it's be something like:

"I coming to get you, Matrixxxxxxxxxxxx!"

lol nice one OptimusMike.... here a little useless imformation for u.... Matrix was offered a deal for a second film but he wasn't interested so the producers made a few changes to the script and called it die hard.. isn't that fucked up.....YEPPEE KA-AY MOTHERFUKKA!!!!!

Ahh.. Commando... What a film! Always makes me chuckle... With the yellow porsche that can repair itself and damage itself in the blink of an eye! (I've always wondered how they do that??) Least we not forget the way arnie dangles Sully over the cliff... Again it has eluded me where arnie stemmed that extra limb that looks like a hook to hold him!

About the plot now... Who could seriously take a Fat, Freddie Mercury look-a-like, clad in chain mail and leather pants seriously? I mean, as if the aussie accent wasnt enough... they have to make him wear the most audatiously camp outfit i've ever seen!! This is Arnies nemesis!! The guy did take a 1000 volt charge at the end and punch arnie so hard he cried like a fanny... Now that deserves credit... Thats besides the point though!!

Overall a class act.... Peace out!

I'm a Predator man myself. That was such a cool movie when I was a kid and is one of the only ones I can still watch today. All those poeple thought they were tough and they all got wooped by that ugly alien bastard.

its a pretty cool fan made film....sort of taster to the new batman film coming out.....gone with rubber suits in with leather and material......stan winstan (bloke who designed penguin, Terminator, alien, predator etc etc) was a consultant on this short...allthough he's not credated

and on another note....did you like predator 2?...cause i really thought that sucked ass

I also enjoyed the first predator, but i agree with you sillytits, the second one sucked major ass, Arnie was smart not to be involved with it. it was stupid trying to humanize the predator.

Can't wait for Aliens vs. Predator, I think it looks awesome.

Speaking of Alien, does anyone no about the Alien Quadilogy DVD set that was just released? It has like 9 discs all together, and two different versions of all 4 movies. Looks awesome and I hope to buy it someday, too bad I can't afford it right now.

nah way man....A v.s. P is gonna suck...sure its a good game...and could make an interesting concept on screen...but think about...how on earth are they gonna concentrate on a story.....when theres so much potencial for action!

plus Paul W.S Anderson cant direct to save his life.....past efforts include :

Resident Evil and Soldier...

he makes me ashamed to be british i tell yah!!

he started out good with event horizon...that was an okish thriller

the main reason why that film is gonna suck big time tho is because they have said that stan winstan will not be involved they have cut him out of the whole thing which likerly means alien and the majority of predator will be CG...and im totally aggainst films solely based around CG...films should only be brushed up with CG and not a foundation

btw...what did you think of that short i posted?

oh and with the alien box set....its pretty much the same as the last box set....only this time you get the Alien Directers cut (which is infact shorter then the original...a thing ridley scot is known to do...e.g Blade Runner) and a revamped version of Alien3 which is bloody good...shows you how fincher wanted it and not the blood sucking producers

Well Resident Evil did suck as a movie, but the first movie Paul Anderson did was Mortal Kombat, which was a good version of the game. I would still see the movie.

David Fincher is a great movie director also, Seven, Fight Club, and Panic Room are all very well made movies. It was too bad he dropped out of Mission Impossible 3, it would have been interesting to see where he would have taken it.

Well from what I heard, Fincher wanted to bring a much darker approach to the film a la French Connection, than what Cruise wanted, and since Cruise is also the producer he and Fincher parted ways. The world may never know.

however...i think with the story line that has been written (selling body parts on the black market) its gonna be pretty hard not to make it dark and Joe Carnahan, the guy who did Narc, has a tendency toward dark films much like fincher....

i think fincher is the more inventive director but both directors are hard and dark
