Fascism takes root in America via...Chick-Fil-A???

Will E Worm

Conspiracy...
Tell us Will, how do you shove a belief down someones throat?

I don't. :hatsoff:

Yes, Chick-Fil-A is indeed shoving their anti-homosexual agenda down people's throats...for once, you are right.

No, the people trying to block them and the homos outside are shoving their beliefs down everyone's throats.

Also, the homos define themselves by a sex act, they are not a faith nor are they a culture.
They are not special and they do not deserve any special rights.

To be theocrats, Chick-fil-A would have to be a form of government. Stop bomb-throwing.

Exactly. ;)

And what's the "fascists" comment? A rainbow?

The rainbow is Christian.

When Christian groups boycott retailers who say "Happy Holidays" are they "shoving their beliefs down people's throats" or exercising their rights as consumers to spend their money where they want?

Read Plumprump's comment below.

Or boycotting the Dixie Chicks because they spoke against George Bush.

I didn't. The Dixie Chicks had a right to say what they said. They should have said it in America.

A boycott is an act of voluntarily abstinence (not buying the product), which is just a tad different than legislating the blockage of a business (not allowing the product to exist), based not on actions of the business, but solely on the political beliefs of the individual running the business.

I really don't have a dog in this fight but..............

No one ever said they deserve special rights. Try paying attention and try keeping up. They deserve the same rights as everyone else. Seriously, how hard is that to comprehend?

Bingo...and what many of these small-minded little bible thumpers do not realize is that they are purposely blockading those basic rights - then calling the oppressed fascists. THAT is the ultimate political spin.

I've never eaten there, is it any good?

I tend not to patronize establishments that won't allow concealed carry....that doesn't make me a gun nut.

If people choose not to go there, I'm sure the company excepts that lose of revenue, over compromising their opinions.

That is unconstitutional. Shall not be infringed. :hatsoff:

As annoying as it can be, it is the store owners right, or the corporations right to enact those sort of policies. It is Unconstitutional to deny you that right in your home, and when you're in public, but privately owned, is just that...private.

If the politicians want to hamper the growth of a legitamate business solely based upon the owner's social beliefs then start shutting down bible stores too.

even if I don't agree with the owner's personal beliefs, I do support his right to freedom of speech, just as I support the LGTB community's right to voice their concerns

Wrong again. :hatsoff:

I am correct. The Constitution backs me up. Shall not be infringed is what it says. Not anything else. :hatsoff:

You're quite stupid, aren't you?

Private land, that is to say non-government, non public land, is fully entitled to refuse guns. That is the law, that is the constitution. I'm sorry your inability to process things you don't like prevents you from understanding that.

You're too liberal. I can carry a gun any where.

I will be sending a letter to my governor to declare this unconstitutional.

In that statement alone, your stupidity when it comes to anything Constitutional shines quite bright.

BTW, if a person decides to carry a gun onto my property without my consent, I have the right to deem them a threat and smack them in the back of the head with a baseball bat, permit or no permit.

My brother can carry a gun anywhere too. Can you tell me why Will?

And as much as Mayhem and I bash heads I won't even say he is too liberal.

As much as I hate Bloomberg he got this one right.

Actually, I don't believe you can unless you feel your life is in danger, and if the person is walking away from you, that would be a hard road to travel. You certainly are very much entitled to invite that person to leave your property ASAP. If he threatens you, and you live in a State that has a castle law, you certainly aren't required to retreat, and may stand your ground...of course most states have those. Illinois doesn't, obama voted against that when he was a Senator.
