Is that the official term for it? I'm not a fan of soccer, and I don't know what the technical terms are. In football, if you get tackled in your own end zone it's not called "own touchdown," it's called a safety. I figured soccer might have something equivalent. :hatsoff:
No, you put the ball into your own net. Its a goal for the opposing team. What usually follows is a shot of the player looking dissapointed and the goal keeper doing the same, or blaming everyone else.
