This one really bums me out, Not only a founding member of Skynyrd, but also a great band with Collins. "The Rossington Collins Band", which had an incredible female lead singer. R.I.P, Mr. Rossington, you made a lot of great music, and I played air guitar to most of it.

He was the last original member still alive. I just wonder if the other members will go on. They could theoretically buy the rights to the name, if they had to. There are certain bands, you can just see going on and on, even without original members, just because they were that kind of band. Yes comes to mind, as a band like that, with so many personnel changes, and style influences, from those musicians coming and going. Actually I'm surprised we don't have 2 separate "Pink Floyd's".
Don't Gilmore and Waters have separate projects? Yes actually had two separate 50th Anniversary tours in 2018 - one led by Anderson/Wakefield and the other by Howe/White.

Yes, and yes. The thing with Floyd is, Gilmore wrote, and contributed enough to earn the right to continue after Waters left, even if he wasn't an original member, but Waters being the arrogant, angry guy he is, seems like he would call his band Pink Floyd, just to **** Gilmore off. Nick Mason was touring with a different group of people, doing what he called the "Saucer full of secrets" tour, playing old Floyd, but using another name. Waters didn't fuck with him that I heard of, although I believe he still does the Floyd thing with Gilmore but it's pretty well known the anger between Waters and Gilmore, and it recently got worse. Waters wrote, and played some great music with and without Floyd, but he's a pretty grumpy, angry dude.

He's the kind of a guy that seems to have that old school, no pads, leather helmet toughness. You know he murmurs under his breath, that players today are pussies, and when he was young, no one wore a cup.

R.I.P. Mr. Grant

He always looked like he was in great shape. No fat or weight to lose. Such a shame for him to die at 60. RIP Lance Reddick.

I enjoyed Lance in Oz and on The Wire. Intense, serious, and didn't smile much in his roles.

I'll always remember him from Destiny, and this epic scene from Ducktales:

He was still at the top of his game and I would have loved to have seen more of what he could have done.
RIP

I was so sad to learn about Shyla Stylez passing back in 2017!! So sad , we really should have a set a ********* and pornstar thread separately. Well Shyla was one of my cousins favorite stars next to Alexis Texas. Still so sad! :(

One thread is much easier. We had separate threads in the past, and we would end up with 3 or 4 people all starting their own thread, in regards to the same person.

Another musician gone to that great gig in the sky. I liked Tom Petty, but didn't really get into him to the point that I knew all of his band mates and history. I also never knew Barry Leadon had a guitar playing *******. I'm a big fan of The Eagles, specifically the early years, "Desperado" being my favorite album. I do know they were both solid musicians. That's pretty evident by the quality of their music, and success.

R.I.P. Mr. Leadon, Tom's waiting for you.

R.I.P. Mr. Regan.

Did John Lydon's (aka Johnny Rotten in Sex Pistols, Public Image Ltd.) wife Nora pass away? I kind of heard that ... wasn't sure.

Yeah, she did. It was on Yahoo a day or 2 ago. I didn't post it though, because honestly, they didn't even mention it was "Rotten", they only used his real name, and I had no idea. I guess they were married for 48 years, which is like, amazing in ANY world, let alone the rock star world. I was never a fan of the punk scene, although I knew who they where, and that Sid ****** his girlfriend, but other then the 2 songs that were popular, I never heard any of their music. Or the Dead Kennedy's, which I guess was another pioneering band in that genre.

The man isn't a *********, but he certainly is a hero. He has earned a place in Heaven, and he has earned a peaceful rest. May his ****** take comfort that he's in a better place.
