Famous People / Adult Performer Death Thread

Loved his work. Versatility that was rare to most actors. It's great that in his later roles his talent was displayed to the younger generations.

“If Jesus came back today, and saw what was going on in his name, he'd never stop throwing up.” ---Max von Sydow

A great actor, RIP

Such a great actor. Top notch. There was nobody better at playing a 2000 year old Semitic guy. Yuge. Truly incredible actor. Very special. Other actors? Losers. Just terrible. Total disasters. Everyone agrees. Believe me.

I was really sad to hear about his passing. Such a brilliant actor and quite a knack for choosing such excellent films to appear in.
Hope he is at home on the boards in that great theatre in the sky. R.I.P., Max.

Don't worry he's not really dead. Everyone knows Ming the Merciless always comes back for the next season.

Betty Lynn, better known as Deputy Barney Fife's girlfriend, Thelma Lou, has ****** away, at the age of 95.

Betty Lynn had a cameo on a CBS segment about Mayberry/Mt Airy last month. She lived nearby. At 95 she had a good run.

I sorted out a thread a while back that was an all-purpose thread for people who have shuffled off this mortal coil. Can we use that, please, instead of cluttering up this forum with lots of separate threads. FreeOnes Talk is starting to look like a mortuary.

Congrats on the promotion from *****-bump analyst to power-hungry mod. (y)

A couple questions:
  • Should 'musicians' be added to the title of this thread? This thread started with a musician and it removes any ambiguity around '*********.'
  • Should the Politics & Religion and Sports subforums have their own versions?

Thanks, I am slowly climbing the ladder of forum responsibility.

To answer your questions:-
  • No, as I'm trusting that people will have enough common sense (that's my first mistake) to regard anyone that people might know to fall under the banner of '*********'.
  • No, just stick them all in here.

Is there any way to sticky it. Out of site, out of mind, and half of use at least me anyway, are usually buzzed, or thinking about what to say about the dead person.
