Yeah. I looked for this thread over in the Sports sub-forum. Then I came here, figuring FreeOnes would just jam WIllie in with the rest. Major blow in the world of sports, which has taken quite a beating of late. I wasn't a Giants or Mets fan back in the day, but I remember the networks followed Mays' HR run. He was one of the best power-hitters in history, but with deceivingly good base speed. Martin Mull ****** away. He was 80, and it says he ****** after battling a long illness. I thought he was hilarious, especially when he and Fred Willard were doing something together. They were friends for a long time, even before they appeared on Roseanne.
