Fable II vs Fable III

It was the game I was talking about.

Uh.... Got it!

Wow... gone off topic here, but it's nice to see some N64 love. I've seen a lot of people in the gaming world looking down on it. I thought it was absolutely awesome. The games from Nintendo and Rare alone were epic. Many might disagree, but I think Mario Kart 64 is one of the best Mario Kart games. Diddy Kong Racing was awesome too. I didn't play Donkey Kong 64 though. By the time that came out, I had already played Mario 64 twice, and the Banjo-Kazooie games. I was platformed out.

Back on topic... This thread has made me put Fable II back in, and I'm going to play through it again before getting Fable III.

Yeah, sorry for going off-topic, but sometimes it can't be helped.

I lost my console, controller and all of my games, due to moving.

I have been thinking about getting ahold of the gamecube remakes of the n64 Zelda games so I can play them on Wii. I really dont want to hook up my n64 to play them.

Ugh....Wii.....

I love Fable 2, I **** Fable 3 with a passion, they just destroyed everything I loved about Fable 2, oversimplified it, and made it way short. It was like an M-Rated game for ****, lame story, no challenge in gameplay and terrible toilet humor. If it wasn't for the mild ******** and sexual themes I guarantee Fable would be an E rated game.

On a side note, I hated the wii at first, but lately I've been playing it alot at my girlfriend's and friend's houses for the past couple of weeks and I can honestly say it's way funner (not better) than the 360/ps3. I think if you people give it a chance, you'll like the wii. There are alot of lame games but there's also an equal amount of good games like goldeneye, mario kart, Donkey kong returns, Kirby's epic yarn, Zelda, Super Smash Bros, etc. I think if you're just looking to hang with your friends/****/spouse and have a good time, the wii is a great console. I personally think kinect is crap, there's a noticeable lag which I'm not sure is the game or the hardware's fault because there is a small game library with no standout games.

I'm still holding out a shred of hope that Fable 2 will come to the PC.

They seem to be releasing games fewer and far between for the PC now. I am not saying there are none that are good. I really wanted to play Starcraft II. But I committed to the console market 4 years ago specifically because microsoft where consciously seperating the boundaries between consoles and pcs. There are some great PC machines for running games, don't get me wrong, Fallout looks awesome on a PC, but its too expensive for the size of the market. Although when I do get a beastie PC I will shell out for a wacom tablet of fair size too and some other hardware.
