Fable 2

Did anyone like the first DLC? I've heard a lot of both good and bad things.

Great game. I beat it twice. First time I mostly used magic and melee. Second time I used pure magic. The game is not tough, but playing as a pure spec adds some challenge to the game.

I might play it again soon. I want to get the final ending for my achievements. I think thats the last one I'm missing.

On second thought I'm glad I didn't have a chance to get this game. From what I've heard it's a catastrophically bad bug filled nightmare where your lucky to not encounter something. Not only is the fact you only get one save extremely sucky by itself, but when you get one of those game stopping bugs there might not be any way at all to get out of it other than starting the entire game over.

Yeah, that sounds like something touched by Microsoft to me :D

^Doesn't anybody know the old saying, "Don't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you see"... i have this game as well as a lot of people on this thread. And it seems that NOBODY has actually experienced these so call "bugs".

I have yet to come across any real big bad bugs.

I just find it incredibly easy! There is next to no challenge in this game like there was in the first one. They pretty much hand the game on a silver platter (and the only thing worth the taking is silver platter, figuratively speaking of course) for anyone to beat this game. There are potions you can buy that net you, if I remember right, 74,500 EXP points! Now I understand the option to buy or not, but c'mon, why put that in there? Let people work for something. Games are becoming so watered down anymore it is sad.

Ah well, I still love games and play them and am not quitting anytime soon! I may sound cynical and bitter about this, I do not know. I do know I have been playing games since the Atari and NES days and to see how far they have come in such a short time is marvelous! However, to see how far they are going downhill to try and bring anyone and everyone into the fold is sad to see; in the meantime they are leaving behind the very gamers that built this culture up to appeal to the bigger mass. Either people want to play the games for a challenge, the storyline, whatever; but to play it just to play it and not going to if it is too hard-- that's bullshit! Stick to online flash games if you want to pass the time. Leave the real games alone and keep them to what they have been for the past 30+ some odd years: a challenge and a sense of accomplishment if you beat it!

Go play some Ninja Gaiden now to relive the sense of what games used to be like! haha

*steps off soapbox; takes a swig of vodka*

Very childish I didnt find the first one like that strangely. But besides gameplay the storyline due to seemingly being completely targetted at children pissed me off.

Childish? In what way is it even childish? The game play is basically the same as the first Fable game. Only thing different is a new graphics system, extra exp when you fight well, wide selection of emotions, you can customize you clothing/colors, have a family and so on.

And how exactly is the story "targetted at children"? Is it because there wasn't a ton of blood when you kill something? Or is it because you get a dog as a companion? Only part of the story that is in any "childish" is the first 15 mins of the game where you are in fact a child with your sister. The first Fable also had the same set up, but you did choirs around the Guild.

You probably didn't play more than 30 mins of the game I beat. Give it a chance.

Next time give examples - everything you said made no sense. Also learn to type. Thanks :D

amazingly addicting.. very fun and never really gets boring until you beat everything and get all achievements. the addons are good to
