I’d like to know a little about how the videos are shot on Nubiles. The work is very distinctive—as soon as I see a video or just an image, I know it’s from Nubiles. Since everything is shot so artfully, it would seem that all the scenes were laid out before the shooting begins. At the same time, the performances are natural and simply amazing, telling me the actors are allowed to be spontaneous. How do you get such extraordinary quality?

Technology is always changing. Technology today was not what it was 10 years ago. How do you see technology changing you job 10 to 20 years from now? What role do you see in play in changing porn?

10 -20 years is quite a long time in web years, especially since the adult web is really only about 20 years old or so. As far as my job goes I think the communication and collaborative online tools keep getting better and more advanced. I mean the difference between sending a spreadsheet back and forth over email versus being able to live edit at the same time as my team while drawing real time white board ideas online is really amazing.

As far as changing porn I think there are many areas to look at, two in particular are exciting. First is the way porn is produced is changing. You are going to see a huge shift in picture quality as production moves to more TV/movie like equipment. The second is the way that porn is discovered I think will change. There has already been a big shift in how video is delivered (tube streaming style versus download), but the basic way that you try and find what you like hasn't changed, and its due time. I know our programmers are cooking up some interesting ideas for our members and I can't wait to see what they come up with.

Studios invest a lot of time and money into each production. Location, makeup, hair, production team, performers etc. The male talents inability to "perform" can cost time and money. Studios need to know the male performer is reliable.

Salutations Kristin, hope this finds you doing well. My question is have you ever had a major issue regarding your source code? Since you run three reputable adult sites, is all code written by workers or programmers from the outside, working freelance? (Programming as always been a love of mine and well adult content programmer, sounds like a great job title)

The code has always been written by in house programmers so I think that helps keep the code secure. Feel free to send your resume to support at nubiles dot net - we are always looking for good programmers

This side of the biz has long interested me, so it's fascinating to hear your experiences in this area. There were a lot of pretentious proclamations (how's that for alliteration?) from some quarters about the Internet back in the '90s, asserting that it would essentially be a giant, electronic, very edifying Encyclopedia Britannica. However, similar to the introduction of the VCR in the late '70s, the truth is that without X-rated content the Internet never would've proven as popular as it has.

If I may, my next question would be as follows. Kristin, is there a particular growth area, genre-wise, for your company that you see on the horizon?

Expanding genres is actually what we are interested in.
