You know, I only just thought about that.

At first I was annoyed about him dying and didn't even notice the number.

But yeah, what a great age to die at. I bet he did it on purpose as one last crazy act :1orglaugh

I also thought it was funny how he never calculated anything out with his jumps. He just sort of guessed and winged it. :1orglaugh You would think jumpers would want to find out if something is even within the laws of physics for the bike and jump they're trying to do but Kneivel just went by his gut.

The son of daredevil Evel Knievel wants to follow in his late father's footsteps and attempt to jump the Snake River Canyon in southern Idaho, a spokesman for Robbie Knievel says.

Jeff Lowe said motorcycle jumper Robbie Knievel will be in Twin Falls on Monday to discuss the plan with local officials. The jump is tentatively set for the Fourth of July weekend in 2011, almost four decades after Evel Knievel's try, Lowe said.
