What difference does it matter what she needs it for, if she filled out the paper work, and pay for the tax stamp..it's her RIGHT to own it. Some people buy guns for more then just protection.
Gotta love that the soldiers are not just willing to die for their country but they'll also get naked for it!

Nah- that's an M249 SAW- I'm pretty sure you need a super duper machine *** license here in the US to own one of those, and that license is pretty tough to get. I had a firearms instructor at the police academy that had a machine *** license.

There's no such thing as a "super duper machine *** license". You need what revidffum mentioned. Whether it's a mini-Uzi or a .50 cal BMG, it's a Class 3 weapon either way.

Actually, he does have a point. A *** like that would be almost impossible to get. It was probably made post 1986, when the first assault weapons ban was ******. Since you are only allowed to purchase from the existing pool of weapons, and parts. No new parts/complete weapons for civilian consumption, means a *** like that is out of reach...and probably around 100-125k each. I doubt she's military, but she could have a boyfriend/husband that works for one of those private military companies, like Blackwater. They're allowed to purchase/own things like that.
shes in the service. thats a birthing area she is in and thats a m249 saw with an acog reticol on it. the slings a combat slling. im guessing navy or army. im in the Marine Corps but ive never heard of women infantry. she could be a mp or embassy security. but regardless she is in some type of service.
