That's a tough claim to make. If you use a condom then risks in both circumstances are minimal. But I will agree that prostitutes are professionals, and they do take steps to protect themselves that many non working girls don't. So in that respect you can feel somewhat more secure.
I still wouldn't be to secure. Even a good number of the top high priced ones will do things, like go without protection, if the person they're with pays them a little extra to do it.
Exactly why I say I wouldn't assume your risks are much lower with a prostitute as opposed to a one night stand. And personally, I'd think 100 times harder before not using protection with a prostitute vs a one night stand.

Considering the geographic location you're talking about, I'd be a lot more comfortable reading about your experience if you would've used the word "woman" or something less ambiguous. As it's written, it makes me feel....hmmm... distressed, at least.
