Sorry Eva, but if I got stuck with a massive cell phone bill would you help me pay for it? Probably not, but then again I don't have thousands of fans that would be willing to send money just for a picture and an autograph, which you knew they would because people are stupid. This is very low on your part. Take care of it yourself.

i get y shes doing it and y she might think ppl will feel bad 4 her since her fiance is a solider and if i was rich id probably donate.... but today on NaughtyAmerica she did mention that she just bought a new car and the car she WAS driving was a cadillac cts. And i could get on my soapbox about my problems (w/ phone companies student loans ect) but i wont

I buy a vowel.

Let's imagine that Eva and her soldier were spending $10.98 per minute on these calls ($7.99 for AT&T and $2.99 for T-Mobile), although the Admiral very much doubts this is what she was explaining. $12,000 / $10.98 = 1093 minutes. Over 21 days, that's 52 minutes a day! If the Admiral were this young soldier's first sergeant, the Admiral would be very concerned over him having a 50-minute phone call even once during those 21 days. Because them calls is expensive. A young Specialist just doesn't have the scratch for such a call more than once a month.

Now, the Admiral supposes that Eva's per-minute cost between using AT&T and the cheaper T-Mobile after switching from AT&T was not $10.98, but rather something more like an average of $4.99. And then we get 2400 minutes spent on the fucking phone. A hundred and ten minutes (an hour and 50 minutes!) per day. There is no way on God's green earth that a young soldier would be permitted nearly two hours a day yakking on the phone to his li'l hunny bunny for 21 consecutive days at the start of a combat deployment.

The Admiral was deployed too, honey, and also had shore duty at an overseas location. In those days, we also had telephones but we rightly stayed the fuck off of the phone because of the expense. The Post Office has this amazing technology called a "letter" that costs just a few cents. It works.

The Admiral likes to talk in third person.

For the reference of FreeOnes readers, so they may compare their financial situation with Eva's:

An E-4 (Specialist) with less than two years' service in the Army earns a base monthly salary of $1889.70 per month. He also gets a Basic Allowance for Subsistence (BAS) of $267.18, a Family Separation Allowance of $250, Hazardous Duty Pay of $225, Hardship Duty Pay of $100, and a Basic Allowance for Housing (at the Los Angeles, California rate) of $1561 to pay his family's rent.

When serving in Iraq, all this money is tax-free. That's a net income of $51,514.56 per year after taxes. Compare to your pre-tax income of about $65,000. (Now, you're not being shot at, of course, but still...) Eva's man brings in $65,000 a year, and she can bring down $5000 a week getting fucked for video. But you should pay her phone bill.

Ohhhh ya. What happened to him? And Jason2k8?? Aren't they both banned?

yup. kinda miss the sarge. but beefin on the board aint the smartest thing to do.

Rear Admiral, I hope you have gotten a good college education and are using it for something better than just finding out a pornstars minutes on a cell phone. Either way, we salute you.

I dont know this lady but this is really freaking ridiculous. My fiance is in the military (e-5 ten years in) , was in iraq and i never EVER had a phone bill this big and I talked to him all the time thanks to cheap phonecards on his end and a boost mobile unlimited minutes 50 dollar a month plan on my end, has she thought about switching to an unlimited plan with tmobile, which they now have?

ETA: tmobile does have a mil discount of I think 15 percent, if she switches plans she wont get it but she could probably get it now if she doesnt get it already.

i thought that was just dirty talk

for some reason i just read her response, but 2 works skype and skype, works wonders. I dont know why he would bring a cellphone to iraq, hell i wish my man did, but his laptop worked just as well :)

dump t-mobile and switch to metro pcs which has a plan for $40 for regular c-phones and a plan for smarthphones that costs $50. Both offer unlimited, local and national talk, text and surf and for $5 extra they offer unlimited international calling. If you get a family plan for 2 c-phones, they knock off $5 off the monthly bill for each phone.

Or get boost mobile which has a $50 unlimited local and national talk, text and web surf
