With Euro 2016 starting I thought I would start this thread for anyone that was interested who wanted to post any comments throughout the tournament, any predictions on games or who they think might win the tournament.

As much as I would want England to win I just think that France having home advantage and probably having the best form at the moment will win the tournament.

Same old England it always seems to happen at tournaments, really do need to beat Wales on Thursday now or it will be another last game battle to get through again.

Shame England match was spoiled by mindless hooligans who just want to fight and spoil it for all the proper fans.

Some more riots. Yet, in general view, they are still on a scale that are not uncommon at such events, sadly.

Good thing the police was ready for the mf IS, so a bunch of hools was a treat.

Back on topic:

Right now, Turkey plays Croatia, good game.

Later in the evening, us Germans play the Ukraine. Looking forward to it!

Some nice games but I haven't seen a winner yet. Even Germany seems vulnerable. France looks good but they have an 'easier' group.

Spain is playing right now. The Czechs are standing extremely low and make it hard to break through.

Yup. And then some more: wat we need is a team and not just a bunch of talented players playing together. It's not even improving over the years but getting worse.



Although Wilmots is still beloved and not questioned it's probably time for some new management.

Well after the first round of games in the group stages there hasn't been anything really special from any of the teams, Croatia looked good, Italy played well, Ireland were unlucky against Sweden, Hungary did well by beating Austria and Iceland did well against Portugal.

It will be interesting to see what happens in the next round of games if any of the bigger teams can start to show better performances that will make them look like they can actually win the tournament.
