Eminem's new Video 3 A.M.

That accent AGAIN? What the fuck is wrong with him? Seriously, I wanna know why he's doing it. I'm trying to enjoy his new work but I just can't because of that FUCKING ACCENT!!!

i agree eminem is fucking up. His cd is highly anticipated and that damn accent is fucking it up

Another song came out from the album, entitled "Old Times Sake" featuring Dr. Dre and Em STILL uses that annoying-ass accent! Damnit, that's four songs now (Crack the Bottle, We Made You, 3 A.M.). I have lost all faith for this album. :(

Guess he musta keel-dum. keel-dum

Again, as I've said before, what did Elvis do any different than Marshall has?
They both took what was considered black musical art forms at the time and became legends because of it??
:2 cents:

Beastie Boys did the same thing 10 years (or so ...) earlier. Better in my opinion, because they made it their own and didnt conform to what the typical hip hop artist was.

Whilst I'm not a fan of Elvis, I dont think the comparission of Eminem and Elvis is valid. Yes, as you say they both took what could be described as "black music" and turned it into something that white audiences could listen to. But what Elvis did was totally revolutionize the music industry of the time. People today can look back and scoff at his acomplishments, but none of us were alive (at least most of us) at that time so none of us really know. But what cant be denied is that Elvis changed the music scene of the time and rock and roll from then on has grown to what it is today.

I dont think the same can be said about Eminem, yes he because incredably popular with both white and black audiences because he had skill as a rapper but could you really say he revolutionized music? I dont think so, all he did was rise to prominence during a time of growth in the hip hop genre.

Got the album, and I really like it. I don't think it's as catchy as Slim Shady LP and it's definately not as great as Marshal Mathers LP, but his rapping is top-notch and he is still one sick and twisted motherfucker.

I dug Dominic West (McNulty, The Wire)'s guest apperance as "Dr West". Wonder how he got that gig? Maybe he's a fan...

It's just a freaking bad ass song.

I don't mind the accent. If sting can fake a jamaican accent.... em can to. Which is, I think, what the accent is supposed to be. Sort of a rasta spin.

Could be... probably is wrong :)

But whatever it is, it don't bother me none. It's just some sounds, and it sounds good enough for the song. I was impressed. I had kind of lost interest in Em before this tune. Now I'm a little more optimistic about the new stuff.

Still, not exactly falling out of my seat for it. I like his music, but I don't love it.

Not a bad album. Obviously he's going to try to incorporate some controversy, but I like a lot of the songs.
