Early life
Chriqui was born in Montreal, Quebec,[4] the ******** of Sephardi Jewish parents from Morocco.[5][6][7][8][9] Her ******, Liliane, was born in Casablanca, and her ******, Albert, in Rabat.[10][11][12] She also has relatives in Israel.[5] Her ****** practiced Orthodox Judaism in the Sephardic tradition.[13]
Chriqui has an older *******, Serge, and an older ******, Laurence. When she was almost two, her ****** moved to Toronto, Ontario. She grew up in Markham, Ontario, a suburb northeast of the city.[14] Her ******, an aesthetician who once told Emmanuelle she would become an actress, died when Chriqui was ******* years old.[15][16]
