Editting posts

I tried to edit an reply I made to one of the threads someone made and it only gave me 10 minutes and I was past the 10 minute mark. I like to ask if we can have 24 hours to edit a post or reply we make here?

Why is it not going to happen? Members have the right to edit their posts after they post their message and to do that even if it is more that a day to do it. Everything does not need to be set in stone and not change.

I would love for that too. I made a post and would like to remove it.

Regina can we request that a post we did be removed?

We do not remove posts unless there is generally a good reason. For example: you broke a rule and didn't know you did when you posted, or you posted personal information about yourself or a model.

Other than that, it's not really something high on the agenda

Agreed. Many other forums allow users to edit their posts WHENEVER they want to. There is no time limit, and that is how it shoul dbe.

We have very specific reasons why you can't edit your post after a certain time, which I am not going to explain here.
And this board is owned by FreeOnes so we set the rules the way we feel works best for us.

So I am afraid you're going to have to live with it.

Rules can be changed. So why can you not explain the reasons why on what you said as in:

"We have very specific reasons why you can't edit your post after a certain time, which I am not going to explain here."

Freeones may own this forum but its the members here that make it what it is today. As I said before rules can be changed. Not allowing us to edit our posts and remove them is kinda like censorship.
