Eddie Guerrero RIP

I highly suggest that any one who knew of Eddie watch this Premium Link Upgrade from WWE.
Watching it sent light chills through my body and brought a tear to my eye.
Rest In Peace Eddie

If it doesn't work just go to WWE.com and it should be on the front page.

To my knowledge Batista (current champ) is hurt and will not wrestle for 2-3 months and Guerrero was to win the title in a tournament style layout leading to Surviour series for Number 1 contender...

They were schedeuled to do a Supershow on Sunday(Raw and Smackdown) IT was going to be Eddie vs Batista Vs Randy Orton. And since Batista is suffering from a back injury they were going to have Eddie win the match and the title.

Glad to see that the networks have more class than ESPN's radio announcers:

USA & UPN issued the following regarding Guerrero's passing:

USA

WWE was deeply saddened by the loss of Eddie Guerrero, who died Sunday morning in Minneapolis. In response, the entire WWE ****** gathered on RAW to remember Guerrero. Superstars from both rosters took part in interbrand matches dedicated to their dear, departed friend. Between matches, Eddie's peers paid tribute with video messages. Many cried, all were overwhelmed with emotion. Each cited stories particular to their friendship with Eddie, but all spoke of his inspirational role in their lives, his love for his ****** and his uncanny ability to summon any emotion and convey it to an appreciative crowd. Eddie was remembered as a consummate in-ring technician and exceptional performer. In the final tribute match, WWE Champion John Cena defeated SmackDown star Randy Orton when Cowboy Bob prevented an FU, causing the disqualification. Randy afterward attempted an RKO, but Cena pushed away and caught Randy with an FU coming off the ropes. The Champ then removed the Guerrero shirt he wore all match long, placed it flat in the center of the ring, then draped it with the WWE Championship belt. (From Premium Link Upgrade )

UPN

All of us at UPN are deeply saddened by the passing of WWE Superstar Eddie Guerrero. An incredible performer, who has been a fan favorite on Smackdown, Eddie will be truly missed, and our thoughts are with his ****** and friends. (From Premium Link Upgrade

They put him in it that way Batista wouldn't of had to work the whole match, but since they did tribute shows they scrapped the title match all together.
I'm not sure what they'll do with the title but...

Batista is going to try to avoid surgery and rehab his injury as we reported here over the weekend. He'll miss about 4-6 weeks.

I was watching Score and it came up as a line on the ticker, at first I thought I read it wrong and then it came up again. Its pretty unreal to hear about it, especially after just watching Smackdown (even though its recorded earlier) and watching his match. The Raw tribute almost had me in tears, Eddie was always one of the wrestlers that was a constant favorite of mine.

This is a loss for everyone who had the pleasure of watching him perform and even more so for his ****** and friends.

Now this is interesting. For now it seems unreasonable but after the past week you really have to make your own judgement. I wonder who they're reffering to:

-- In the latest PWTorch newsletter, editor Wade Keller states quite bluntly that there is apparently a top wrestler wrestling in the WWE today who’s considered to be on an “unofficial death watch”. He doesn’t go on to further elaborate on who this wrestler is, but he does go on to mention how people need to do what it takes to keep him alive, even at the “expense of box office receipts, storyline interruptions” and more.

-- The deathwatch, which is apparently no secret to most within WWE, is still possibly unknown to Vince McMahon, who would need to be informed. The un-named wrestler, should he pass away, would make the coverage of the shocking and tragic news this week of the passing of Eddie Guerrero look ***** by comparison, due to his credentials.

No I don't believe its a storyline. I think that, going off this guys story, that he is saying that there is someone in WWE close to death. Best take it with a grain of salt for now.
