DVD Recording Question

Hello

Does anyone know if Windows Media Audio (WMA) Files can be converted and burned to a DVD and played in a DVD player ?


or can the WMA file be copied directly to a CD or DVD and played on a DVD Player ?

I hope this is the right FOURM to ask this question.

Anyone that can help I would appreciate it.

Try using Premium Link Upgrade .

It allows you to convert a bunch of different file types and burn them onto DVD's.

I'm fairly sure you can just burn those files as an audio CD, and then play them in your DVD player.

you could always just convert em to mp3 for easier use either.

Ive tried the same burning a file to a DVD-R and it will not play in my DVD player i dont know how o make it work

Could be the disc..try a different brand.
Some DVD players just won't play home-made discs.

Burn at a slow speed. Do not use your maximum speed. If you have a 16x speed burner, try burning at 4x speed.

I have found out that the Windows Media Audio-Video File that I Purchased PAID For the Downloaded and saved to my Hard disk is Protected by D.R.M. Digital Rights Management and I cant use Nero or Windows Movie maker to import it to a DVD so I can watch it. Microsoft is the biggest advocate of DRM so it seems. Although if you do a search you will find DRM not to be popular among the consensus. I think its ridicules that I can purchase a movie file and then find out "Oh By the Way" Its still the companies right to restrict its use. I totally disagree and find DRM to SUCK totally. And anyone that can find the way to crack DRM will get kudos from me.
