btw i ordered the harrowing halls dungeon tiles set. got a decent deal so i said what the hell.

it includes some 3d pieces. that will open up some excellent possibilities.

We played a game a few weeks ago (jeez almost a month ago now, how time flies) anywhooo's, yeah, we were begining 'Gardmore Abbey' which I brought The DM for Christmas. (next year I am celebrating Cthulhumas instead, Santa gets boring) anywhooo, yeah. So our DM carefully prepared a 3D Abbey entrance. I guess him and I both had Chris Perkins legendary Abbey from PAX set-up in mind. Although our DMs abbey was brown paper card it set the scene and our imaginations filled it with the rest, the burning amber and maroon sky with the green forest trees swaying in the wind down the hill. But yeah... you know what... yes I had enough of typing its tiiiime for 'Dungeon Baaastard'

Seems like a long time since this thread has seen some post.

Anyway, I just bought three more dice bags, one that will be specially made and six more sets of dice since I don't have any books I want to buy for a few months. I'm starting to get tapped out in good looking sets of dice I can buy.

i started re-reading the players handbook last night. got me jonsing for a game. as usual.

i still havent ran ravenloft.

im gonna miss a meet up to game this next saturday but for a good reason. ....it involves roald. someone shoot me now.

Actually when I said, "I don't have any books I want to buy for a few months" ...umm that didn't quite end up being true. I just pre-ordered The Slumbering Tsar Saga from FGG. It's going to be the total collection of adventure paths for that series compiled into one book. It set me back a few bucks, but it's also going to be over a thousand pages of material. :o

My backlog of RPG reading material just got bigger.

I've only ran 1 session of Freeport so far this month, which was basically set up to allow Anders to fucking hang himself. He did.

The vampire keeps getting canceled. Last chance is this coming Sunday and then there's no gaming for about 2 months since my folks are here all next month and then I'm in the states the last half of may.

Though, I'm poking a friend to finish the game of SLA he started at conception, though I think the game will end up being Deadlands instead. Ah well. At least I get to laugh at my best friend who painted her nails to match the swirlies in her pink and white dice.

Hmmm...when you say that I wonder which version of "high" you mean. Although swinging ***** is more likely for you I suppose.

Charlie is actually still alive, and he´s even managed to get his arm back! The arm is now pink... but he´s got it back.

So you're being generous and going easy on him. I would have thought you would have made it so it had a %5 of falling off and being un-reattachable. You do have to admit it would have made it interesting to see what situations would be important enough to use both arms. Or how about it has a small percentage Chance of doing things on it's own. :1orglaugh

i made some stalagmites out of some bake clay.

since the pic, i chipped out some texture and painted them, and put them on bases.

cant wait to use them.

I got my dice bags today. They're pretty nice. Too bad I don't have a way to take photos to show people. Now I just need dice to put in them.

That begs the question though...is there such a thing as too many dice? :1orglaugh

I think if I was in Petra game , knowing what I now know of her, I would try to stray towards the "hire a henchman" route, one who is profficient in surgery. One who can sew the arm back on everytime it comes off, sure this comes at a small price, plus the 10% chance the henchman is going to turn against you at some point just as you've given him your full trust. i.e Don't trust anyone in Petras game, but where would the fun be if we didn't.

(Although 5% isnt much)

Only one of the dice sets I was mildly disappointed, but two of them ended up being even better than I though they would be. Since I have a couple of empty dice bags now I'm also thinking about getting one more pound of dice just for now.
