Not so odd depending on who the guy is. I have several Wakasashi, Katana and Tanto swords but I've also been practicing Kenjutsu and Iaido for years though and depending on your tastes and home decor a classic sword set can be fairly decorative. I don't know if this guy would fall into either of these categories though.
i dunno. when i think home decor, i think some nice curtains...a new lamp etc. not a weapon.
i'm going to decorate my apartment with .22 calibres and a catapult
He must have had the volume up way to loud. Kusos for the neighbor for wanting to help. He should have called the cops and then went upstairs.

I agree with you up until the last part he should have not went up stairs :2 cents:[/QUOTE
The problem was he kicked in the door. He should have knocked first. Honestly if I thought someone was in trouble I would have went upstairs. The cops get to a lot of scenes to late.

some time taken a risk is worth it if some one was in trouble the difference int ime of going up yourself or waiting for the cops could of sealed her fate if some one was in trouble it may of been to late i think he did the right thing.

I'd bet anything the guy with the sword had a mullet.
