Download Speed Issue

Hi,

I am looking for some download speed results for the attached thread :-

I am using comcast DSL in Illinois and getting awfull speeds, of around 60 KBS, just want to know if this is just a comcast issue.

Comcast sucks big, fat, weenie donkey dick. I have the same problems with slow internet in California, and I have a friend in Utah that has the same problems with Comcast's service. So, yes, it is a Comcast issue.

It has already been revealed that Comcast has been regulating download speeds of its subscribers. Change ISPs.

Try using an internet download manager. Go to cnet.com to find one. I also have Comcast cable internet and I dont have any problems at all.

oh boo hoo! I remember when we had 28k dial up and we were like damn this **** is fast! it only takes five minutes to load an image. damn spoiled **** these days.

How much bandwidth have you been taking up lately? Some of them will limit you and cut down on the speed you can download once you reach a certain limit per billing period.

It depends on how far your computer is away from the exchange - that happens here in the UK.
