i dont understand the big deal here. its all quite simple.

if you download a movie/music/etc for free yes, its called piracy unless you have the rights to it or the rights have been released. yeah, millions upon millions of people do it every day, but its still stealing. technically.

should the government be stepping in? well, who put them up to it and why? personally, i dont like it. who does?

will it stop it? of course not. but, imagine the future. what will things be like then? cyber crimes = fbi busts. will internet crimes (such as ******* piracy) will have their own task *****? prolly. will it stop it? nope. there will always be an underground. depending on the governments hand in it, it can get ugly. really fucking ugly.


we should pay for what we like. it keeps the people who make it in business. we might not want to hear it, but thats fact. so what? who cares? enjoy today because things are going downhill fast. privacy is a thing of the past my friends.

its sad to think..people with millions can sit around and cry because someone is downloading a song or movie...as if they dont have enough money...most of the greedy hogs already have more money than you could spend in 3 lifetimes..seen a distant picture of celine dions house awhile back shes got 3 swimming pools in the front yard..if everyone would stop downloading music..she could have 4 greed greed greed greed:thefinger eat ****!! put me in jail...me and alllllllllllll of the umpteen million that does it every day, and when i get in jail i will still find a way to download. cant never tell..if this keeps up they may be ****** to get a Real! job

Threatening people will never make them stop doing anything

I was not threatening, I am stating my opinion. I think that ***************, worldwide, should close down sites like these and tube sites also, arrest the owners whom allow the pirated materials to be on the site, and also charge the up-loaders of the ******* content, and the down-loaders of the pirated material. If people constantly went to jail, or were fined for doing these things, then they would think twice before doing it.

Those whom believe they are owed something, just because they have less. Try working and buying things, instead of stealing them, it will generate a better economy world wide.

I don't know about singers, but I do know that the majority of working actors do not earn a huge amount of money, and they work extremely long hours. I know someone who has just finished filming a series having started in July, he has just finished in mid January. He had a week off over Christmas, most other days were 7am til 7pm Monday to Friday, and some Saturdays.
So, you "done" plumbing for 15 years, have you? That is often seen as one of the most overpaid jobs that there is as you tend to be called when people are in trouble and can get away with over-charging what you like, and spending most of the time on site ******** tea (or coffee) and twiddling your thumbs to push up the hours.
Real work? What makes physical labour "real" work?
I spent 3 years at university, working hard for a good degree. Most of my day is spent at a screen and keyboard writing programs to keep businesses running. I have worked hard to get where I am, but are you saying that because I did not "pick up a shovel" that that is not "real" work?
