DOS Games

Going really old school, I played Premium Link Upgrade for hours upon hours upon hours.
I also played tons of Premium Link Upgrade .
Both of these were played on an old IBM, shortly before the days of Windows.

Heh. I haven't played the original Rogue, but I have played a lot of (Net)Hack and some other roguelikes (Larn, Moria, Omega). Usually died pretty quickly, but that didn't stop me from trying. Trying probably thousands of times..

60 DOS era games:

Mentioning this just in case: the list of games in this video is in the video description.

Oh, and Premium Link Upgrade ! That was a great racing game.

The one that springs into my mind - when talking about DOS games - is Leisure Suit Larry...

I'm a bit surprised nobody had mentioned this one yet

But I have to admit - played it much at school back then (when we were not supposed to hehe) in 1994/1995

I used to play all kinds of DOS - games, like "Alone in the Dark", "Dune 2" and so on.
I returned to old point & click adventures, play them on my Android.
The current game is "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis" --> Fun!

My favorites to play were:

Duke Nukem, Police Quest, Space Quest, King's Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, Doom

My favorite title was:

If it moves, Shoot It!

Premium Link Upgrade by Blue Sky Productions (that became Looking Glass Technologies in 1993). Classics.

Looking Glass and Lucasarts made the best DOS games in those days..

By the way, remakes of King's Quest I-III and Quest for Glory II:

I bought most of the original Sierra Online game when they first came out. Before they went to CD's, they were put out on 3.5" floppies, and I still have the original floppies for most of them. I don't have a disk drive anymore, so it's good to know I could get them off the web if I wanna get nostalgic.

Forgot about Castles. Great strategy/sim style game. Had been looking to DL for free for a few years. FINALLY found a link. Great way to **** an otherwise boring ass day!

Castles. Never played that one, but it brought Premium Link Upgrade to my mind.

Oh and Castles is available in gog.com:

yep already got it and for free at that, thanks!

Now if I could just find a free version of Sim Ant that actually works I'd be all set! I found one, but it freezes up constantly. I would love to overtake a yard and house again! Good times.

Matter of fact, there are two remake projects involving King's Quest III.
Premium Link Upgrade

They have a remake of Space Quest II as well.

On to platform games: Premium Link Upgrade by Epic Megagames. In that time it was in many ways ahead of other platformers.
Premium Link Upgrade

Premium Link Upgrade by Six Pound Sledge Studios, originally supposed to be Jill of the Jungle 2. It has indeed inherited the solid controls of JotJ, though it still feels quite different. Being a parody, it has an extremely cheesy story. :D

Aaand that's Debra Dare in the title screen. Just in case if you're wondering but don't bother to watch the video all the way.
