DOS Games

I think I'm too young for that.

I'm only 26! :P And my younger brothers remember it. This stuff was pretty early on in the world of PC games, though, I remember when home computers first became a thing people could have my parents bought one and we had games like this on it!

I do remember a Home Alone game, I think it was for the first film.

Police Quest I & II, Space Quest, King's Quest (I heard Telltale Games is rooting this series)

I liked the Police Quest games, Original Duke Nukem, Commander Keen, and the point and click adventure Star Trek games. Good ole DOS.

Kings Quest was a fun, if not teeth grindingly difficult game.

But Space Quest today still makes me laugh so hard. I love the games and the adventures of Roger Wilco

Those screenshots hurt my eyes! :D
Have played some Dos games back in the days but can't remember their names.
But I don't think I would ever be able to go back to those graphics, not even for nostalgic reasons. :1orglaugh

i am not sure if this was dos or not, but this is such an old school game

i used to play

wolfenstein 3d
duke nukem
commander keen

"Silent Service", by Sid Meir. I played that game on my Comadore 64 for hours!
Taking a "down the throat" torpedo shot, at an on-coming destroyer, was awesome!
You started out in Australia, in a U.S. submarine.

mad dog mcree i think was only in the arcade. was freaking awesome and was one of the first $1 games if i remember lol

I just downloaded dosbox on my comp which is an emulator so I can play some oldschool games. wolfenstein is one of my tops as is police quest. Anyone old enough to have played kings quest?

these games were the best.

my favourite part of 3rd grade was playing oregon trail every tuesday.

shooting bears and burying your ****** was more fun than social studies.

Great thread!

One game instantly springs to mind: Star Control 2. One of the best games I have ever played. What's even better is that there's a remake, called "The Ur-Quan Masters". That means that you're not ****** to use Dosbox if you want to play it on a modern computer. Dosbox is a great program, but it has problems with some games occasionally.

More classics: Master of Orion 2 and Master of Magic. Desert Strike, Descent, Raptor and Magic Carpet were pretty entertaining too.

Ahhh...memories!

Did that first post pretty haphazardly. Going to be a bit more thorough now.

Premium Link Upgrade by Blue Byte Software, quite an entertaining arcade style helicopter shoot-'em-up
Premium Link Upgrade

Premium Link Upgrade by Bitmap Brothers, a somewhat difficult RTS with robots. There's going to be a Premium Link Upgrade ! It's already in a good stage of development.
Premium Link Upgrade

Yay for the Z remake! It had some problems running in DosBox on my machine, so after the remake is done, those will be gone! :partysml:

Premium Link Upgrade by Looking Glass Technologies, one of the best games ever. FPS with roleplaying elements.
Premium Link Upgrade

Premium Link Upgrade by Bullfrog Productions. Great strategy / action game. Quite difficult too.
Premium Link Upgrade

Premium Link Upgrade by Blizzard Entertainment. Classic.
Premium Link Upgrade

Premium Link Upgrade by Origin Systems. Very entertaining (but difficult) isometric shoot-'em-up with cheesy cutscenes and some great music. Both the games are very similar in gameplay, so I think one video link will do:
