pwned - it started started, I think, when someone in a World of Warcraft battle misspelled 'owned': it just caught on and became one of those internet words ......

for instance (note the exciting use of a '3' for an 'e' !!!!)

Just stupid... Good advice, IF you decide to steal a computer, always do a format c: and reinstall, and even then it's not always sure it's not traceable.
