the reviews i read in gameinformer gave it mediocre ratings saying a lot of the controls sucked and if you are a GTA fan this game is for you just don't expect anything close to GTA

I might buy it if my Xbox wasn't fucking broken. I heard it was basically a sequel to True Crime: LA, which I loved.
It was originally called True Crime: Hong Kong, until Activision dropped it and Square Enix picked it up. Square Enix didn't buy the rights to the name.

I'll rather wait for GTA. this game reminds me of Stranglehold. which was also set in Hong Kong.
Ugh. I wish they'd give us some idea of when that's coming out.
To me, it is worth a purchase. I spent only $40 on it, as I had a gift card, and I gotta say, it was quite a fun game, and still is. I completed the main story and still have some side stuff to do. Its something to hold you over until GTA5 comes out, whenever that is. I hear ******** dogs has about 20+ hours of gameplay. I didn't have a chance to look at my game clock to confirm it. The story in this game is excellent. You are an undercover cop that is also part of the "Sun on Yee." I personally enjoy being able to free roam around China. I wish GTA would make a game in Japan, instead of using Liberty City and all these other places that have already been made...
I would guess Spring/Summer 2013.
