Re: Does discovery of this 1st Century coffin lid show the final resting place of Jes
And as to why he didn't "travel the world" he was on this earth as God in HUMAN form so he could be more relateable, if he went around flying in the air during his time it would take away the purpose of him appearing as a human. He could've avoided everything including the crucifixion, he could've done whatever he wanted, he is God but that would defeat his purpose of being sent down to earth as a human.
Unless if you've studied the Bible before you probably don't understand what I am saying, I am not a theologist but I do know quite a bit of Bible stuff...
he wasn't "buried" his body was placed in a tomb that was kind of like a cave, like I stated earlier in the thread. There's some serious problems with this story. Jesus would have been considered a "terrorist cult leader" by the Romans who were controlling the territory at the time. I doubt he would have been allowed to buried at all, especially if he had been vilified enough to warrant crucifixion.
Honestly, I think Jesus was probably just a pretty cool carpenter in his time, and he'd have no idea why all this nonsense resulted after his death.
