I never buy it but I go round my old flat at least a couple of times a month to see two mates and one is borderline addicted, he told me once a couple of weeks ago that he was going to try and reign it in since it was getting near to the point of "weed or food" because he was spending too much on it but I see no signs of him actually reducing his intake. But since he's a good lad, he always offers me a couple of hits on his bong whenever I go round. Then we watch TV and giggle like schoolgirls. Except less sexy.

I agree about the booze. I worked the door for many years. Drunks were the biggest pains in the ass. Too many people go out and don't have the ability to hold their liquor. They get aggravating, disrespectful, violent occasionally, and an overall general nuisance.

The way marijuana is sold out here is very civilized. I go to a dispensary in West LA that I consider the Whole Foods of Weed Shops. Very mellow, friendly place that has good quality bud at nice prices. Very attractive budtender ladies also.

Have this quote stuck in my head from 15 years ago at The Great Midwest Harvest Fest held every year in the fall in Madison, WI.

Only went once but Harvest Fest has been around for 40 years. It is a open defiance rally on weed prohibition that starts in the court area at the Eastern end of UW-Madison. After speeches there a march up State St to the Capital Building where everyone sits on the lawn of the Capital and smoke. Cloves joints are passed out to trick the cops with fake arrests. As people are taken away and less cops everyone smokes the real thing.
