Do you really think it matters who you vote for?

McCain and Obama are basically the same. There both New World Order/Banker shills. If want the truth the MSM won’t tell you then check out the Alex Jones radio show on his site www.infowars.com

I am not a conspiracy theorist, I am a conspiracy realist. To understand what’s really going on in our country you have to understand who and what the Federal Reserve is doing and has already done. If you disagree, watch America: Freedom to Fascism free online.

Of course it matters. If John Kerry would've won the last election, someone who seemed like a huge pansy, do you think we would've attacked Afghanistan after 9/11? Fuck no...we probably would've sat around and done nothing about it. But, since we elected George Bush, someone who was willing to take a stand and fuck shit up, we invaded and sent a pretty loud message to the world.

So...yes, it matters.

You know, for all this "they're both the same" rhetoric (which don't get me wrong, I'll bet it's largely true - something we can never know, of course, as only one will be elected, but...), there is one area which there seems to be a clear distinction: whom is nominated to the Supreme Court.

For that, if nothing else, I can cast a meaningful(ish, considering what the Supreme Court has done - or rather, hasn't - in quite some years) vote.

...still thinking to a third party.

Good point on the Supreme Court. Yes I understand that there would be some differences but it’s not like either one is even talking about monetary policy or changing foren policy. I plan on voting for Chuck Baldwin from the Constitution party.

Oh you are so right, I guess we should give all the power over to all of the people like alex jones that don't like the government for stopping them from trying to control everything instead.

let's just cut out the middle man and get rid of representative government all together and give direct control over the country to the wealthy aristocracy.

No 'big brother" government means no anti-discrimination clauses, no minimum wage laws and forget overtime pay and workers compensation, no public safety laws, no separation between religions and the private sector so no more access to porn along with contraceptives and, etc.

True wit is in short supply.

these con artists don't want to help the working man, they want to be able to screw everyone over to make as much money as they can and then not have to give any of it back to benefit the public.

Of course it matters.
If the democrats win the U.S will be controlled by these three.

Obama, Pelosi and Reid........Not at all what the country needs, especially now. I know it, you know it, and our enemies who want to destroy us or simply sit back and watch us destroy ourselves know it.
Also what do you think will happen to the supreme court?
Prognosis: trouble comin any day.

Ummm... CCT, 9/11 and the invasion of Afghanistan happened a few years before John Kerry ran for president in 2004. Bush had already started the Iraq war too (You know, the stupid, wasteful, illegal and pointless war that is costing us 3 billion a week).

As long as Lisa Ann is Vice President, and I get to watch her get fucked everyday on the news, then I don't care if McCain wins. But seeing how that IS NOT going to happen. I can't help but not vote at all.

You're right, my bad. I was thinking of back in 2000 when he ran against Al Gore. Alcohol...I'm blaming it on alcohol.

It doesn't matter, your point was still valid.
And if kerry was elected in 2004 the U.S. under the leadership of kerry, pelosi and reid would have abandoned afghanistan long ago and simply let taliban regroup and reclaim the country......the consequences, not good.

Re: Do you really think it matters who you vote for?

I didn't a month ago. I believe that both parties are generally moving in the same general direction, it's just that one wants to fast track "u.s" to communism - socialism faster than the other, something that the rest of the world wants because they have to endure those challenges of living under the dire conditions of socialism, why shouldn't America ? ! :dunno:

Personally, I would wish that the entire world be free and as self sufficient as possible, however, self sufficiency isn't good for govt business work .

BTW - I saw Buckethead He rocks !!

I don't vote regardless who's running. The only person I would've voted for is Hilary Clinton, but that wasn't to be. It doesn't matter who you vote for because there will always be problems with whoever gets in the White House.

With all due respect. That is not a statement of fact. That is your opinion and it is based on nothing more than your personal biases.

You, nor anybody else, can ever know what Al Gore or John Kerry would have done if they had recieved more votes than George W. Bush. Oh... Wait... Al Gore did recieve more votes than George W. Bush. My Bad.

ok, good, your right.
I don't have crystal ball.
just a theory based on what I've heard them say for the past 5 years.
not biased, a theory based on info.
Just like i have no idea exactly what saddam would have been doing for the past 5 years had he not been ousted, but based on his past actions I am sure it would have been nothing good.

1+1+1+1+1+...

A vote counts. A vote is not only a right but a previlege. In many coutries, you cant vote. In many coutries you can die on your way to the polls.

Of course, my or your little vote isnt changing a 250 million populated country politics but each vote matters.

In US, Republicans (right) and Democrats (center-left) have two different ways to handle both intern and foreign politics. Some wars happened (or not) due to who is in power. Economic crisis (or stability) depends on their decisions.

It matters. For US citizens and for foreigners as well.

My :2 cents:

And here's an amazing little tidbit....there are more options on the election ballot than just the two major parties. If people honestly don't like the Dem or Rep options VOTE FOR SOMEONE ELSE.

It's a shame that we've pretty much let the two major parties dominate the elections and shut out any other options from the debates or really anything having to do with the elections. Who knows what would happen if some of the independants were able to get on the same playing field.

I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiment as well, Pet ! It's infuriating how "the lesser" candidates get shut out of the pre election public debate and I haven't analyzed precisely how or why this can happen in a supposed democratic society. I do know that the members of the U.S. Constitutional, Libertarian, Amer. Independent, Peace and Freedom, Socialist, Green . . . . did I leave anybody out ? :o . . political parties would ask the questions that the two major party candidates don't want to talk about, questions of which would make the ambiance of this nation a better, more true to form democracy had all pol party reps been allowed to enter the arena.

I bet that it has to do with the time constraints of televised broadcasts though. A debate with . . say . . seven - eight individuals could take an eternity. I don't care what their excuse is, All sides must be heard ! God forbid that we find a candidate that we actually like !

Oh yea, I forgot about "The Whigs" and the communist party USA. ;)
Isn't there just a plain 'ol "Populist" party as well ? :dunno:
