Do you own anything cool/rare/unique?

I have one of the 1967 celtic tops signed by the Lisbon Lions

I think it is pretty cool since they are all in their 70's now and it was such a huge thing for celtic to win in lisbon in 1967

It cost like £600 pounds or so though

I'm so horny, even the crack of dawn isn't safe
The 1st edition of "Zap" comic's hand stapled by R.Crumb. a 1961 toy robot recently apraised at $970.00. A 1909 Mahagany gaming table, and a Leaded Glass shade table lamp,1912, $1,100.

Plus a stoarage locker full of porn. That's probably more value to the readers of this forum than any of the above.

I collect baseball cards. Some of them are worth quite a bit.
I have five cards from the 19th century.
There are the 25 or so pre-1930s cards in my collection.
I have almost all of the 1933 Goudey set - only missing six cards from the 250 card set.
I have almost every Hall-of-Famer's card made from 1948 (the first year Bowman made cards) until present. In fact, in total, I am only missing 19 of those cards (the newest being a 1955 Roberto Clemente). This includes rookies of Yogi Berra, Sandy Koufax, Nolan Ryan, Johnny Bench, George Brett, Ernie Banks, Rod Carew, Al Kaline...in other words, I have a lot of little pieces of cardboard that other people would pay a lot of money for.

PSA :elaugh:

If I had to worship any firearm as a god it would be this!!!

Why, you don't like Kurt Cobain?

I own a Minimoog, Roland Jupiter 8 and Juno 60 and an EMS VCS3. Believe it or not but Jean Michel Jarre wanted to buy my Jupiter 8 but I'm not selling it. I inhereted my synths from my grandfather and I love to play them.

Oh...thought you were saying you owned a Minidog and a 'Ronald'...I was going to say that's the explanation for the decline on FOs bored then.

Mostly sports collectibles.

Baseball & football cards from the late 40's to the early 90's. Probably some decent stuff hiding in there, just haven't cataloged the whole collection yet.

Football signed by Troy Aikman, Emmit Smith & Michael Irvin, signed before any of them were HOFers, don't know if that makes it anymore valuable?
Other Cowboy's memorabilia (Another just Aikman ball, Aikman signed SI cover) My uncle lives in Dallas and has gotten me some pretty cool gifts over the years.

Bobby Knight signed picture.
A piece of the old/original floorboard from Assembly Hall at Indiana University.

Michael Jordan signed picture when he was playing for the Birmingham Barons minor league baseball team. Probably not worth very much, but still kind of unique.

Larry Johnson signed bball.
Chi-Chi Rodriguez signed picture.

Payne Stewart/Fred Couples/Arnold Palmer autographed "Quiet" sign that I got at the PGA Skins Game at Bighorn CC in 1993.

Arnold Palmer's member's bag tag from TPC Prestancia, where my grandpa worked as a marshal.

Philip Rivers signed helmet and photos.

Probably the most valuable thing that I own is a rather large collection of "postwar" Lionel trains. The value of them about 5 years ago was well over $7,500.

Umm. Yeah - I think this qualifies as a baseball card collection. Wow.

Anyway, my autograph collection includes Rickey Henderson, Joe Frazier, and Carl Lewis.

And I have a Phillies ticket for the 1964 World Series. The year they choked and didn't make it. Ha.

Got a coin collection featuring old ones like a 19th century Austrian Empire coin.
I also have a stamp collection featuring stamps from communist countries that are HUGE (the size of a letter page, not joking).
Other than that, I got lots of records, cassette tapes and CDs. A lot of the stuff's been out of print for ages and some is autographed.
And I also have some autographed band posters, t-shirts and ticket stubs.

I still have some of my original Transformers toys packed away, including my favorite, Jetfire!

I always wanted Grimlock, a Dinobot. But my parents would never buy him for me. :(

When I was in the states, I collected Kentucky Derby Glasses. I managed to run into some of the more rare ones that people didn't know what they had at estate sales and whatnot.

I also have, sitting in storage, about 800 Breyer Horses. o_O

I have three $5.00 Silver Certificates that are worth about ten bucks each, a rare DVM Mauser in .257 Ackley Improved that PO Ackley sporterized for my Father when I was 10 or so (damn thing still shoots 1/2 MOA groups), a few odd coins and a pea-sized wart on my left testicle.

I have a lot of stuff from the Reich. One grandfather was school director, so I have schoolbooks and other literature with personal notes from the authors from back in the day. Creepy stuff about 'Racial Hygiene', too

Oh, and Daguerrotypes from the other half of the family, from the familie's estate in (Then) 'Eastern Prussia' (Now Poland). With Hindenburg and other guys standing on the front stairs, down to the lake. Or from the opening of the 'Hindenburg Dam' to Sylt.

Well, I do have some very old comics etc, too. But I don't really collect.

Same, but nobody worthy of mentioning. :crying:

Oh, I just thought of this one: the last time I worked for Heaven and Hell I got Ronnie James Dio to sign my crew shirt. 6 months later, he was dead. I'm sure it would be worth something if I were to sell it. Not gonna happen, though. ;)
