Do you own anything cool/rare/unique?

I'm building a respectable shot glass collection and have a bunch from weird little shops and towns, but anybody could get these and there is probably hundreds or thousands out there. I also have a few autographed rookie cards of Yzerman, Federov, Konstantinov and some other guys. I have a couple pre '50 Canadian silver dollars and last but not least, a vol.1 #1 issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. My dad was a huge collector of things and the stuff I have is all from him before he turned into a dug addict, deadbeat and sold all of his stuff, but that's neither here nor there.

Besides the comic book, I don't really having anything unique or rare. It's all stuff anybody could get, but it's still cool anyway.

Any of you scumbags have anything cool?

Edit: I also have a Flash. Bullseye, The Target #1 and Clerks comic book written and signed by Kevin Smith.

I've got a couple of first editions of The Strand magazine featuring the first printings of the early Sherlock Holmes stories. Over 100 years old!

That's pretty cool. Would you ever consider selling them? I don't plan on selling anything I own. I find more value and pride in saying I own them!

I have shitloads upon shitloads of crew shirts from the past 10 years of working rock and roll. I also have tons of other shit that I've collected off stages. I have a rather large personalized guitar pick collection, backstage passes, and set lists from shows that I liked.

I've got about 500 or more vinyl records from my parents, some of which are limited editions and rare, and all of which I've listened to. I've got a couple binders filled with different card collections from when I was little. I've got a collection of MAD magazines, going back to the late 60's, t-shirts from concerts I've gone to, and a collection of currency from foreign countries I've visited.

Yes. Leave your address.

Have you valued anything? Do you have any interest in it's value?

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
I have a Rose Bowl football autographed by Sir Drew Christopher Brees (#15) from when he was a Boilermaker. It's in a glass case along with my ticket from the Rose Bowl that year. This is my favorite collectible by far. I'll never sell it.

I also have an autographed Colts mini helmet signed by Peyton Manning. There's no way I'd ever sell that. I have a card plaque display (I guess that's how you describe it) that has 24 Ryne Sandberg cards on it from various points during his career. A few of them are valuable. Again, never selling that. He's one of my favorite all-time Cubbies.

Another thing I have that I really treasure is my grandfather's purple heart - he was wounded in France during World War II. I was only two years old when he passed away, and before my grandmother passed away a couple years ago, she gave me the Purple Heart. It's a piece of family history that I'm sure I'll pass on to my children. This is obviously my most sentimental treasure.

Now, that is awesome.

My card collections are probably not worth more than a couple hundred dollars each, though I've never gone through them thoroughly. The same can probably be said of most of my other collections. The records are probably worth the most. I've got just about every Beatles album (which I consider an achievement in itself), boatloads of classical and jazz, plenty of 78s, both one and double-sided, and much more. I've been meaning to spend a weekend going through and organizing them, but I haven't had the time as of late. I'm sure if I took the time and had someone appraise them with me, it could be worth at least a couple thousand dollars.

Even if it were worth a fortune though, I'd never sell any of them. My parents and grandparents contributed to the entity I have now during each of their respective times, and I treasure them too much (both in terms of sentimentality and pleasure in listening to them) to part with them. I'll keep them until I can pass them on to my kids, along with everything else I've got.

I have no idea if I own anything rare or unique. But I do know that I once did. It was a star wars figure I used as target practise with the air rifle I once had. I shot the little bastard from a good distance away, the pellet bounced off his chest and went upwards hitting him underneath the chin thus taking his head clean off it's shoulders. A few months later I found out that the figure I destroyed was somewhere in the region of £500 or more for him alone or so I was told.

Shit happens!.

I do have a bunch of old coins my Grandfather had when he was alive. They are just kinda sitting around now.

What I do have in my collection are a bunch of rare movies, old discontinued VHSs and DVDs. Some of them are worth a pretty penny. No one touches them.
