Do you make your own coffee in the morning?

I know not everyone drinks coffee, but those of you who don't, go ***** your tea, or whatever. Andy Ry has a ****** mary for breakfast, as I understand...

I make it at home - it saves huge dollars, and I find I can make as good or better coffee than is available anywhere locally.

I actually use my coffee maker as an alarm clock. It grinds the beans (which I roast at home too), and the sound is just loud enough to **** me up (it's a floor lower than my bedroom). Then I spend the four minutes it takes to brew laying in bed and smelling delicious coffee smells.

When I periodically do get something like Starfucks, I just don't enjoy it.


Anyone have a different/better routine?

Anyone willing to defend buying coffee in the morning?

I make my own in the mornings. Like you, i set the timer to have it ready when I **** up.

I don't understad paying the outrageous prices for coffee from a cafe.

I do however make hubbies coffee in the morning for him from time to time. Nothing in the morning says I love you like a cup of coffee brought to you by your naked wife so he tells me.

Make it. Usually tastes like **** compared to the stuff they have anywhere else. Must be the tap water or something. Went to the hosptital the other day to see my ****** and the coffee there was brilliant. Much better than the stuff I brew. :dunno:

I make a pot every day and have for years. I buy the stuff in bulk and save a lot more than buying a cup for $1.70 or whatever it is at a coffee shop. Question really is Dirk, do you ***** it black or put cream/sugar in it?

There's always a pot in the lounge, so I usually fill up when I walk in the door. I'd love to brew it at home, but the little lady hates the smell of coffee.

And the only time I ***** a ****** mary is when I'm tailgating at 7:00. Breakfast of champions, baby!

I should slap you. I ***** it black, of course. It's a crime to doctor well prepared coffee. (unless it's late in the day, and some ****** goes in and a heavy cream layer is laid on top, but that's different.)

i usually grab my coffee at starbucks. I should start making my coffee in the morning to save some money. i usually have two cups of coffee a day though. one in the morning, the other right after lunch.
