The Second-Hottest Man in my Mother's Basement
I don't know what Daylight Savings Time is.
I wouldn't say I 'hate' it, but...Well, do you?
No, I love it. And, after several very thorough studies, it turns out that it saves millions, perhaps hundreds of million dollars, in energy costs to folks in America. Fewer lights on, less heat needed while the sun is still up, fewer accidents on the ride home because it's lighter, and on it goes. There's a huge list of such things, and the numbers, but I'm in a very lazy mood, and google is too much work right now.
Additionally, I'm a very social creature, and I very often have people here for dinner. The living spaces in my house are awesome in afternoon and evening sun, both for entertaining, and for laying in a sunny spot with a book.
They've also proven that the toll it takes on peoples' health is tremendous. The day after DST takes effect, the number of people admitted to hospitals for heart attacks increases dramatically. But we're all fat, lazy bastards here in American anyway.
Exactly, exactly, exactly...which is why I don't understand why we don't simply leave the clocks forward so we get more afternoon daylight, especially in the winter. On top of these studies, there's another that shows kids are healthier with more hours of daylight in the afternoon (more time to play outside!).What's the problem with DST? I'd much rather have the sun up when I am awake than when I'm asleep.
That's a first. You usually spew a bunch of bullshit about any and everything, whether we're talking about foreign policy, or four in the hole.
That hurts me, man. That really hurts... ;_;
It fucking sucks! And everyone knows all the energy savings and everything that was the idea of this adjustment is wrong and bullshit. It doesn't save shit on energy. It doesn't bring ANYTHING good. But people/governments are too lazy to change it so we just keep this adjusting bullshit...
I hate when they take daylight savings off. I wish they would just leave it on all year so we have more daylight in the evenings. I never got why they take an hour away when its already getting dark earlier!!

Also, just tell me to fuck off. You just get a lot less sunlight than we do. Farting around with when you get to enjoy it will have a larger impact there than here.
Have a drink on me!
