Eh, usually I only get a couple of hours a night (4 or 5) because of my work schedule. On my day(s) off, I take little 1 hour naps here and there just to catch up on *****.
No shifts for me, but I still end up ******** 6 hours or less sometimes. I am trying to ***** 8 or 9 hours a night now as part of weightlifting but sometimes it can be very hard.
Is there a trade off with respect to our over longevity ? i.e. -
If you're of the camp where you ***** less than "normal" 8 hours / 24, do you actually live more of your "conscious life" as opposed to those who ***** a greater duration per week, month, year etc. ?
Or - do you die earlier, more prematurely, in your lifetime as you have been lacking what is "known" to be the normal protocol for healthy sustainable rest / ***** time ?
Is there a trade off ? Please post some reputable resources, if available.
I can't help but notice the many of those who do everything "right" can also fall to random health vulnerabilities.
There have also been "studies" conducted that suggest that "graveyarders" (3rd shifters) - overnight workers "can" statistically have greater "________" health problems, but thus far, it's entirely hypothesis, IMO.
Oh well, just a curio.
7-8 for me. That's about all I can handle usually. I don't like getting up SUPER early, but i generally ***** from 11:00pm-7:00am give or take. I do not enjoy going to be really late anymore, like when I was partying in my early 20's. I just can't handle going to bed at 4am like I used to. I'm not that old now, but my body just can't handle that late night **** anymore.
