Do you believe in Ghosts? Why? Why not?

Have you ever seen one?

From me, I don't believe in Ghosts. I don't believe in anything without evidence from it. (e.g. psychics, werebeasts, gods, vampiric things)

I don't believe in anything that can't be proven except Leprechauns that's why i always carry along a four leaf clover and some potatoes. I want me gold LAD!!!!!!!!

i haven't seen one (and hope i never do) but i believe in what they say that if there are good spirits (which to my mind includes God) there has to be bad ones, sort of a yin-yang thing.

Yes, I do. I've seen one, my ***'s seen two, my gran's seen one, my mate's *** has seen one, and four of my friends saw one too. I could go on.

I live for the most part in England - probably the ghost capital of the world. And I've stayed or lived in several haunted houses.

There's probably a very logical reason for them so I wouldn't actually call them supernatural at all.

The one I saw was a woman from the past - she was in my former bedroom and was utterly benign. I turned around and there she was. It didn't bother me at all that she was there. She moved about a metre and disappeared. All within about 3 seconds. My wife was aware of a "presence" too. We just used to call her the "other person."

One of the ghosts my ****** saw was not benign. It was a man from the past and it terrified him. Other experiences have also been malign.

Ghosts don't worry me. I don't believe in God but I do know that "ghosts," or whatever you want to call them, exist.

My *** says she saw a ghost of her grandmother. Now my *** is perfectly sane, and wouldn't lie to me, but I don't believe her.

She absolutely did NOT see a ghost. They do not exist. If someone could show me hard evidence, then I would gladly eat my words.

Which reminds me...

Has anybody seen this Paranormal State show? It is about a bunch of students at Penn State University who investigate hauntings. Probably the biggest pile of **** I've ever seen on television.

Yes, it's much more likely that your ****** had an hallucination, pareidolia, dream, or even gas leak, than saw a ghost. Also, is the possibility than they are lying or deceiving themselves, in some cases.

Anecdotes are very unreliable evidence. One of the best things learn in school.

Also, I think people should read about Premium Link Upgrade and apply to this and other thing such as U.F.O.

No. I don't believe in dragons, unicorns (except the invisible pink one) or ethical politicians either. People claim to have seen all kinds of things throughout history, but lacking solid proof or a convincing personal experience, I'm not going to waste my time on it.

I voted NO but thats only cuz its never been scientifically proven that they exist! I myself thought I have had a couple of experiences, but not to the point where I am convinced I saw what I think I saw!

Too be honest I am a pretty brave dude, I don't scare easily, blah blah blah! I am not bragging about my bravery, but I would have 2nd thoughts about spending the night alone in a notoriously haunted dwelling for example Alcatraz or some other haunted prisons I've seen documentaries about!

I don't know about the ghost theories and what not, but I do believe evil spirits can lurk in places like deserted prisons and such!:dunno::2 cents:

Unsure would be my answer. I guess I'd like to believe in the paranormal, but I've never seen proof.

I do believe there are ghosts, I'm a strong believer in this. However, I have never experienced one. I got some orbs in a picture at a supposedly haunted place once, but that is far from concrete proof. But still I'm fascinated with the supernatural. And yes I have seen Paranormal State with the Penn State students. I agree it is stupid and bullshit. They never find anything that would show a shread of proof on there.
