In fact yes, and it's a visual law. I mean. A very beautiful woman is normally more beautiful as a brunette. But if you are average or even ugly, you look ok as a blonde because you look softer. That's why we prefer blonde women, because, any blonde women is fuckable. But Monica Bellucci and Jennifer connelly are the best. So all blonde girls play in NBA but the MVP is always a brunette.
I don't think it really matters what the hair color is, matters more what the woman is like.

It has seemed as though men were more attracted to the blonde woman back when it was more of a rarity (naturally). But now that bleaching and any form of dying ones hair to get it blonde, many woman have become a blonde. Being blonde isn't such a rarity anymore and therefore have broadened the spectrum for many men out there as far as what they like in a woman physically. More-so now it appears to be the whole look, not just hair color. For example, one would not just be into blondes in general but a stereotypical California girl who is tanned all year round with sun bleached hair vs. the blonde with super fair skin. Just my two cents 
I personally don't prefer blondes, but that's because I don't really have preferences. Like the OP said, society shoves big-boobed blondes down our throats. Really from the day we hit puberty, we're taught to like those types.

"Society" might shove this superficial preference down our throats. But who or what "is" society? Isn't it the aggregated intentional actions of a collection of individuals with mostly unintended consequences?
If the answer to this question of definition is yes, then men statistically speaking prefer blondes. (IIRC it has been proven numerous times, at least for western society's). But ofcourse statistical inference doesn't say anything about individual cases. That being said, society shapes individuals just as much (or perhaps even in a more fundamental way) then they shape society. Thus, people might think they're supposed to like big boobed blondes, and blondes might they're supposed to act more outgoing and gays might think they're supposed to know a lot about fashion and be girly.
There's no point in fighting this, because no amount of **** up calls will help. Remember the Thomas Theorem: "If men define situations as real, they are real in their consequences."
If you decide to deal with fake blonde hair, you will probably decide to take off all the hair from your pussy and you will probably decide to put some boobies on your chest. That's another reason to prefer fake blondes.
