You're dodging a bullet there. I watched the first two episodes and they were dodgy at best and the quality nosedived from there. It's almost funny how bad it's gotten. Almost if it wasn't for the fact that they've crapped on pretty much everything that was made before the Acolyte.
To demonstrate, you've got an actor who twice in an interview said Anakin destroyed the Death Star and no one corrected it. Now I accept that could be some form of clever trolling, but I don't see it. This week it has come out that the very same actor saying he didn't think someone like him could play a Jedi (paraphrasing), completely ignoring that shy retiring black guy who played a Jedi in three movies. Mr Samuel L Jackson.
It really looks like they have cast actors/actresses who have never watched anything Star Wars and didn't bother their backsides to do a bit of research after landing the role. Same with the writers, I think they went full Jodie Whittaker Dr Who and hired people who haven't read or seen anything Star Wars either.
Just my quick thoughts on it so far.
Spoiler (from episode three) for anyone who may actually be watching it. Do not read any more if you are and you are not up to date.
And we have the best bit. A group of women only force witches using the force for the immaculate conception of force using twins.
This week too, we have a Jedi from one of the movies who said they hadn't heard from the Sith for thousands of years, involved in the hunt for Sith.
