I have not seen a Digital Playground movie recently, but if they do stuff like that, maybe they are emulating Andrew Blake's stuff.
I like straight out scenes, unless, there is a gal I really like in the film - eg. In The Garden Of Shadows, which is an AB flick, but it has my lovely RayVeness in it doing a nice dp.

I didn't saw a celeste movie but slow motion and bad music drowning out moans are good reasons to avoid celeste movies. Nothing against art and style but often such and similar artistic stunts and weird locations are so much over the top that it ruins the scene completely. At least such movies usually don't have weird things like face slapping.

i **** digital playground because they get a bunch of really hot girls like katsumi (katsuni?) and adrianna lynn (or adrenalynn as she was known before) to sign contracts and then you see them in like 4 movies a year total, instead of the 80 they would have done if they weren't contract girls.
i mean, i understand the strategy: buy up the women that have cult fanbases so you can sell a whole lot of dvd's without having to make as many as everybody else. but it's fucking despicable.
