I'm not retired, though I live in Vegas and as such am not actively seeking scenes... I prefer to dance, do webcam, work on stuff for my own site. I did shoot a new scene-- in fact, the first scene for ANY company other than my own site in over a year.... for a site called therealworkout.com I'm not sure how long it will take before it's up , but my friend TJ called and asked if I'd be interested and I said yes.. Our tests are pcr-dna and have I believe it's a 10 day window as opposed to other testing measures which have a six-month window. While some have questioned them, they have proven to be beyond reliable. I do stand by our testing and our rights to perform with and for whom we wish, as we wish to. Condom, non-condom, dp, whatever... I'm simply doing what I'm comfortable with. We all know the only totally safe sex is no sex, and well, that sucks!!! I certainly don't choose that option. There are probably things I do that others wouldn't be comfortable with.... I just think everyone has the right to work ( and play) within their comfort zone. The minute you step outside of that, well, it isn't fun anymore.

I don't dispute the accuracy and precision of PCR/DNA testing (which has the huge advantage, for those not familiar who might be reading this, of detecting HIV directly, rather than waiting for antibodies to form and then attempting to detect those, thus dramatically shrinking the window between potential exposure and detection), I was just being supportive of your choice. I see far too many people complaining about condom use in porn, so it's nice to see someone sticking to their proverbial guns. (Speaking of, what do you do for your upper arm workout?)

P.S. PSA - Any testing is better than no testing. That said, most healthcare institutions use Elisa, which is a relatively cheap, long-window test. In most locales there are other options available if you look (such as OraQuick), which are somewhat more convenient (faster results (OraQuick is usually 45 minutes from finger prick to receiving results)) and may even offer a shorter exposure-to-detection window. They're not as good as PCR/DNA, but they're also nowhere nearly as expensive and convoluted to arrange. (Anyone playing at the Wilt Chamberlain level out there should definitely look into PCR/DNA though, for all our sakes.... just be aware it's a few hundred bucks a shot. (And you should probably do it every 2 to 4 weeks.))
