Desktop music players?

iTunes sucks.

doubletwist has a decent android app, but I don't like the desktop version.

Which do you use?

Yep, Winamp right here too.

It just works. ;) :D

Foobar. Its system resource use is damn near 0, and it's one of the most customizable pieces of software I've ever played with (though this also means it requires a little playing around with to setup at the start).

Is winamp still good? I used it yeeeears ago before I switched to iTunes. I liked iTunes until their last update. Now it sucks.

seems to be ok. i used it a long time ago too. i recently got it back since WMP was too slow. i wanted something smaller and it wasn't playing all the mp3s and i have no idea why.

i heard itunes fucks with all your personal information.

I have no music on my computer, all my music are on vinyl/cd´s.

what, you don't put CDs in your computer?
No, i use my old cd player for playing music-cd´s. The thing must be over fifteen years old but it still works just fine. My turntable have died though, so i can´t listen to my albums on vinyl any more.

Hmm maybe I'll look into getting winamp again.

Personally I use the VLC player, with a mod of my own to allow for winamp style music equalizer/sound shaping. And yes, I know VLC is a video player, but it's actually quite useful for audio files.
