Well, I agree with you that some of those that have posted alot are/were sometimes too hard (imo) on Newbies.
But I have a couple of problems with your post.
1) If you look, the guy has been 'Banned4Life', so he can hardly defend himself. And I don't think there is much point in attacking someone that cannot defend themselves. Maybe you did not notice that.
2) his '******' was ***** compared to many others I have read.
and it happened months and months ago. The board was different then.
and 3) telling a ****** member to 'shut the fuck up' is over doing it. You start a great thread like saying something nice about a member. And you leave an angry post like this. Rather Jekyll and Hyde of you.
Not to mention that this particular person did make some of the best posts on here at that time. If this post is an example of how angry you get over a relatively small point, I think you are going to have an 'interesting' stay at Freeones
Bottom line is, I agreed with your basic point. But you went way overboard - in my opinion. And the guy is ******. I don't admire attacking people that cannot defend themselves.
