*lol*
That 12th district outcome is another sign of the degree to which Trump's grip has slipped since 2016.
Balderson held on by less than 1% in a district that's been red for decades.
A district Trump won by 11%

Then the ego-in-chief bragged to everyone about how he personally saved Balderson from sure defeat by speaking in Ohio when in fact the race was being projected as too close to call before Trump arrived there :1orglaugh

At the rate the numbers are shifting this one seems likely to turn blue in November.

You do realize that it was a special election right? That these two go at it again in 90 days? Do you also realize that special elections are historically a much lower turnout event than midterm or general elections? The only thing that is different is that Democrats are focusing on the reddest of states and districts trying to flip them as some sign that the gods are smiling on them in their nobel crusade of resistance. Yes, in these red districts they are energized, 87 percent turnout to republican’s pitiful 40 percent cannot be ignored but again it was a special election. It’s also summer, **** are still out of school, Ohio is hot and many are in Myrtle Beach or Disney World.

The bottom line is that Republicans didn’t show up for this one and still won because they vastly outnumber Democrats in these districts.
If Republicans are as complacent in November as they were in Ohio-12 ( they won’t be) they’ll suffer upsets.
But go ahead and make Ohio-12 more than it is. It will only help my side on Election Day.

OH-12: County in Ohio just ‘found’ 588 uncounted ballots in special election (be careful we are not the end of our suprises with big frauds such as the democrats)

If the democrats don't take the house in November, they can at least revel in their 'moral' victories.

and meanwhile, they can fuck off as America continues to PROSPER.

fuck. the. left.

seriously, the democrats have to literally hope that things take a turn for the worse for America in order for them to have a chance.

what a position to be in.

Dems has always lead the generic ballot since Trump was sworn in. Sometimes by as much as 17 percent. Today August 22 in the year of our Lord, 2018, the Democrats and Republicans are dead even!
Good lord! The party not in the White House always wins seats during the midterms.

Impeachment, witch hunts, attacking ICE, kicking people off of social media platforms, Hillary flapping her lips. Whatever you are doing Dems, keep it up.

You'd have to be delusional to say the Democrats are a lock to win the midterms. You'd think after 2016 people would learn their lesson. Right now as it stands it's 50-50 the Dems take the House. The polls are constantly changing. One week they're up double digits, the next week it's down to single digits, rinse and repeat. IMO liberals are way to overconfident and it's that type of hubris that could lead them to blowing a golden opportunity. As someone who's followed liberal politics I can tell you that the Democrats have a history of fucking things up and it would not at all surprise me if they fuck up the 2018 midterms. Part of me would like them to lose just so that we can move on from dinosaurs and corporatists like Pelosi and Schumer, bring in fresh faces and put forward a true progressive platform
