Dantes Inferno

Looks like a direct clone of God of War to me.
Game play is very similar, but at least the story is original.

If the full version is like the demo then it'll be fine. I don't pay attention to reviews but Dante's Inferno has actually received some pretty decent reviews. Some reviewers have marked it down because it's pretty much a direct God of War clone and God of War came first. Some of the excuses I've seen (which are pretty laughable) like it's repetitive, difficult in some parts, and can be a button masher can also be directly attributed to the God of War series, and I'm a huge fan of God of War. I remember reading one review and the guy complained about the fixed camera. Um... hello have you ever seen the camera system in God of War. How about giving me real problems with the game instead of being upset that the guy's name is Dante instead of Kratos? The game can be beaten in a week? How long do you think it took me to beat God of War I and II? Sure Visceral Games straight up copied God of War but from what I've played of the demo and from what I've read from most reviews they've done a pretty damn respectable job.

I agree with you 100%.I don't get why everyone is bashing this game already. They demo was pretty good, the game play was crisp, and the story is somewhat interesting.Too many "fanboys" that are just bashing it just because of it's similarities instead of enjoying it for it's differences.

Yeah, I'm definitely getting it. I might even pick up God of War.

Did anyone see the commerical for the game during the Super Bowl? What the hell was that, exactly? The commercial should have been like what the game is supposed to be; an adrenaline fulled kick in the balls. Instead we get some wierd pop music in the background?

wierd pop? that was a classic song. aint no sunshine when shes gone fits the story perfectly. dante goes to hell to save his love not just to kick some demon ass.

the demo was cool and fun, i never pay attention to reviews i want real peoples opinions after they have played the game, so next i can decide if i will get it to occupy me until god of war 3.

bought it after work now i just need to figure out when im gonna play it..
between mass effect (which i finally just started) UFC (still havent played yet) my NHL seasons (on '09&'10) ....not enough time to play all these games! ahhgggg :******:

ninja gaiden sigma, bayonetta, darksiders, dantes inferno, god of war 3 next month, and work. i know what you mean.

it's a ok game well worth the play would rent it only not a buyer can be finsihed in 7 to 12 hours of any diffcultity and an easy one for the 1000 gamer score. fun, playable and very enjoyable had three full play through and loved every mintue of it but would more than likely not play it again if i had bought.

Never read the book....The game is ok.....Though made me realise that perhaps dante's work was an ****** on religion as the game is littered with references to the canto inferno and it plays out I imagine like the major acts/scenes in the book.

Haven't played the game but enjoyed the animated version of it.

It's a solid game.I got it in anticipation of GOW3.While it is in no way better then GOW3,it's still a worthy game in it's own right.I recommend it for sure.
