honestly, i got that mac as a gift, and i was determined to use it for something, but when i found out that even my wireless network adapter didnt even work with it, i said, fuck this shit. who am i, richie rich?

Apple Insider and Cult of Mac have some real asshats posting in their forums. But if you have enough basic info, go to the Apple Support link, that I put up for Maley, and just ask for some help. Just like with asking a girl out,
"it dont cost nutin' to ask". There are a lot of really nice, helpful people there, if you still feel like tinkering with it. If it's got an Intel processor and a later OS, slap a copy of Parallels on there, fire up the old Windows Blue Screen of Death, and you can even use Winders while you're playing with the Mac OS. What you'll REALLY get a kick out of (if you have a dual screen layout) is when the Windows side freezes up or crashes and the Mac screen keeps functioning. I never get tired of watching that. Yeah, I'm easily amused.
