I had never heard of her before Star Wars, but I was impressed with the way she portrayed Rey.
She's in talks of the being the next Tomb Raider

Considering the timing of your post, January 2020.. COVID didn't let Hollywood give her a chance.

This isn't true at all. She's gone on record as saying she wants to work on smaller projects and develop her own stuff, which she is, and she has that luxury now she has Star Wars money. Same goes for John Boyega.

I legit havent kept track of her, over the last few years. (Obvious)
I guess I'm way past due on a daisy movie binge. ****** on the orient and chaos walking looks about right.
She's got about half a dozen projects in pre-production or post-production. She's doing fine. After the complete fuck-up that was The Rise of Skywalker, she's mostly steering clear of big budget stuff and who can blame her - or John Boyega and most of the rest of its cast, for that matter.
....and just like that, she's going back to big budget stuff, playing the exact same character.
*sigh* How disappointing.
